Sam’s perspective for deals came through working on the other side of the table in corporate marketing roles for over 17 years, in Australia and the UK. As Head of Sponsorship at Telstra, and PricewaterhouseCoopers, she negotiated, leveraged and delivered significant returns on deals from ‘000s to multi-millions of dollars; across sport, music, the Arts, philanthropy and local programs. In the last 10 years Sam has negotiated more than $450M worth of deals. In this time she also reviewed thousands of pitches by some of Australia's biggest brands, rights holders and agencies.
To share her knowledge Sam has recently published her first book entitled: I Love Negotiating: Change your thinking and learn to get what you want. A workbook style format that aims to build the reader’s confidence by completing a series of activities that demystify the negotiating process. And you may even learn to love negotiating!
Sam works with brands, rights holders and individuals to help them extract the maximum value from the game-changer deals they engage in.
As well as providing strategic deal support, Sam runs training programs to help individuals and teams learn to negotiate with confidence.
